The professionals in this unit provides a detailed assessment and management of all Psychiatric Conditions in holistic approach combining both Pharmacological and Psychological modes of treatment in both adults and children. An active consultation liaison service exists with the other specialties of the hospital.

The department works hand in hand with Clinical Psychology which provides short and long term counselling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapies for a range of issues from day to day worries to complex Psychological conditions. The doctors are bound by the code of ethics; protect patient’s rights to be confidential and ensures unbiased treatment.

Dept. of Clinical Psychology in Moulana Hospital is rendering Service since  its inception, along with Dept. of Psychiatry.

• Psychometric evaluation, mainly focusing on intelligence testing (IQ test), Specific learning disability assessment (SLD), Evaluation of personality and interpersonal relations.
